  • Family Terms
    1. Democratic Family
      • Family in which authority and responsibilities are shared equally by members
    2. Divorce rate
      • Number of divorces per 100 marriages per year
    3. Extended Family
      • Family unit composed of three generations that may or may not be living together in the same household
    4. Nuclear Family
      • Family unit consisting of husband, wife, and at least one child living in the same household
    5. Single-Parent Family
      • Family Unit headed by only one parent
    6. Traditional Family
      • Family in which roles, responsibilities, and behaviour tend to reflect patterns that have been passed along from one generation to another
    7. Blended Family
      • Family in which on e or possibly both parents have been married before and have children from that marriage living with them.
